Langley has been contracted by Ixion to provide specialist advice to prisoners and ex-offenders as part of CFO3 (a European and UK initiative to help reduce reoffending). CFO3 is designed to target the hardest-to-reach offenders in the Criminal Justice system.
- Specialist accommodation advice
- Debt advice
- Gambling advice
- Advice for long-term prisoners
Services are provided in prisons and to offenders in the community across the South East and West Midlands. As part of the sub-contract, Langley also delivers information, training and guidance to Ixion case workers.
CFO3 will reach over 9,600 people in the South East and over 8,000 in the West Midlands, with the entire national CFO3 programme running until 2020. The programme is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). Contract delivery started on 1st July 2015.
Ixion secured contracts within CFO3 for both regions earlier this year. Ixion is a not-for-profit group companies that is a subsidiary of Anglia Ruskin University. Their vision is to “transform people’s lives through Skills, Employment, Enterprise and Innovation, for growth” and as such, complements Langley’s vision of transforming the lives of offenders to live crime-free.
