The proposed new Torbay Hostel (computer generated image above) is the product of the dreams of local people and the Torbay Churches Homeless Trust [TCHT] which, in 2005, became part of the Langley House Trust.
Our work to combat homelessness in Torbay and South Devon links directly with poverty reduction, helps service users to overcome addictions and chaotic lifestyles and puts people back on track so they can pursue constructive activities and live productive lives. We believe people can change and that this work also benefits the wider community.
Construction of the new hostel is now underway and it is due to open in the Summer of 2009. So far, the Langley House Trust has raised over £2.6m towards this venture and is looking to achieve an overall target of £2.85m. We need your support and we pray you will join us on this exciting journey.
