Carillion staff rolled up their sleeves and got their marigolds on as part of Giving Tuesday on 1st December 2015. Approximately 20 staff visited four Langley projects covering Cheltenham, Winchester, Taunton and Greater Manchester.

Working alongside residents and Langley staff, they deep cleaned and decorated projects whilst seeing rehabilitation in action.

The day helped to break down barriers and perceptions of people with a criminal record and gave Carillion staff the chance to make a difference. Speaking about the day, one Carillion staff member said, “[It was] great to be involved with service users and with other Carillion partners.”

Langley’s projects help men and women live crime-free and reintegrate into their communities after prison, homelessness and social exclusion.

This is the second year that Carillion has donated their time and talents to help Langley projects and residents. Each Carillion employee donates six days annually to good causes.

This is part of Carillion’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. Giving Tuesday encourages people, charities and businesses to donate time, money or their voice to help a good cause.
