As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Carlyle Group – a global alternative asset management company – is mentoring senior managers within Langley House Trust.
Speaking about the initiative, Jessica Berg, EMEA HR Manager, said “the Carlyle Group is committed to mentoring and helping employees achieve their full potential. As part of our CSR objective of supporting local communities by sharing skills and knowledge, we wanted to expand our mentoring programme to include external organisations. Langley House Trust delivers a range of much needed services to men and women coming out of prison and we are delighted to be supporting their senior managers with mentoring to help the organisation grow and develop further.”
Catherine Simmonds, Langley House Trust’s Head of Programmes said “We’re delighted to be working with The Carlyle Group on this programme and are excited to see the impact of their investment”
9 managers have been matched with a mentor and the programme will run at least until Summer 2015. Teams within the Carlyle Group also ran a fundraising event and raised over £1,000 for welcome packs for men and women coming from prison to Langley.
