Langley was pleased to be featured at the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum Prayer Breakfast as part of the 2014 Liberal Democrat Party Conference.

Following a rousing devotion led by Tim Farron MP, CEO Tracy Wild (pictured) shared about the work of Langley and Kainos, picking up the themes of forgiveness and restoration. She highlighted how our work with men and women in the criminal justice system, both in prison (through Kainos Community) and in the community, through Langley projects, helped to bring hope and restore lives.

Langley was also invited to be part of a roundtable discussion with Norman Lamb – Minister of State at the Department of Health – to discuss the number of those with mental health needs and learning difficulties that end up in the criminal justice system. Attended by a range of organisations and politicians, the talk focused on the need for more effective liaison and diversion and the Government’s commitment to providing this.
