Langley Chaplain Awarded Medal in Queen’s New Year’s Honours List

We are so proud to share that Pamela Tolhurst – chaplain at The Shrubbery and Kent Resettlement Project and leader of Gillingham United Reformed Church – has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to her local community in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2022.

Motivated by her faith, Pam works in a voluntary capacity across the board as she seeks to serve the people in her local community in Kent. In her role as chaplain Pam is a great support to our clients and staff as she seeks to build relationships, encourage and support wherever she can.
